Starry Night is an oil on canvas painting by Dutch Post-Impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh. Painted in June 1889, it depicts the view from the east-facing window of his room at Saint-Rémy-de-Provence just before sunrise, with the addition of an imaginary village.

These pieces are students’ rendering of the style of art used in the painting for their own “Snowy Night” pictures. One piece is a painting on canvas and the others are drawn on paper. Notice how the material used as the artist’s surface influences the look of the artwork.
