Robert Simmons

Rob Simmons is a photographer based in Pulaski, Virginia, known for detailed, vibrant sports and action images. Originally from upstate New York, he discovered photography spending hours in his uncle’s darkroom. With a background in science education, Rob has spent the last 40 years refining a technique for capturing peak moments on the field. Deeply connected to the New River Valley community, his work has appeared in outlets including the Associated Press, has been exhibited through universities, and is held in private collections, including the Dedmon Center at Radford University. Off the sidelines, he enjoys hiking and camping.
