Our popular 2D & 3D Needle Felting Class is returning to our Blacksburg location on Saturday, June 24, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.! Join talented local artist Cyndi Maitri for a hands-on session designed for all experience levels—from first-time felters to seasoned creatives.
In this session, students will have the option to mount their finished artwork in a wooden frame, for those who choose to do so, a frame is included in the $10 materials fee which will allow students to produce a piece up to 8”x10” if wrapped over the outside of the frame or slightly smaller if framed on the inside. Students may also bring their own frame for more sizing options.
Cyndi will help participants recreate their own version of the featured piece as shown in the sample image, choosing their own color palette to personalize their creation OR students may work on their own chosen design.
The open-style frame makes a great display for 2D wool art, with a pop of 3-dimensionality.
