Scuffletown is an acoustic duo featuring Marc Carraway on guitar and vocals and John Whitlow on harmonica, accordion, flute and vocals. The band has performed high-energy original and acoustic roots music for over 25 years and has recorded 4 acclaimed albums along the way. Marc and John have opened for Tony Rice, Buckwheat Zydeco, Pierce Pettis, Cephas and Wiggins and many others, and have shared stages with Tom Paxton, Jesse Colin Young and John Stewart. On this 2023 tour, they are joined by Matty Metcalfe, an accomplished multiinstrumentalist who has performed with the band for over fifteen years. He compliments each song with nuanced and vibrant playing on a variety of instruments. After successful tours of Ireland and throughout the East Coast, Scuffletown is looking forward to bringing it's unique blend of Appalachian, Blues, Country and Roots music to a wider audience, sharing it's distinctive 'Scufflized' sound with highly interactive and compelling performances.
