Jeremy Riffe

I am a photographer working primarily in the digital space. My work explores the historic and natural beauty of Appalachia as a way to show the uniqueness of the region.

My process is multifaceted and diverse. I build my images by waiting for the right natural light, and sometimes using artificial light at night to paint the scene.

Ultimately, my goal is to create a space where the viewer feels a sense of reverence and connection. I want my work to challenge the idea that this region is defined by its hardships, revealing instead the enduring beauty of Appalachia.
