The Claytor Lake State Park and Annual Summer Festival is a six-year-old event that last year drew more than 8,000 individuals to the weekend of fun and entertainment. We anticipate an even larger turnout this year on Saturday, June 9th, 2007 at the State Park. Food, Fun, Fireworks and Music! From 10am to 10pm.
The festival, rain or shine, features a Family Fun Festival including but not limited to arts and crafts sponsored by the Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley. We are very excited about this show and expect it to be profitable for exhibitors and vendors for years to come. Some special activities include the Fine Arts Center Wine Tasting and entertainment. Proceeds of the show will be used for art education through the Fine Art Center for the New River Valley.
Location: Claytor Lake State Park. Exit 101 off I-81 just outside of Dublin, Virginia. Camping is available through the Virginia State Park System; please reserve your camping spot as soon as possible by calling 1-800-933-7275.
There is a gate fee for parking.
